Kenyans To Be Evacuated From China

The Kenyan Government has announced that it will provide a flight from Guangzhou, the city harboring many Africans and Kenyans in China.

The Kenya Airways flight will leave on 1st May and according to the Kenyan government, everyone wishing to return to Kenya should purchase their own ticket which is currently going for $750.

This came after Kenyans on Twitter, often referred to as KOT, aired their grievances to the government about the ill treatment of Kenyans in China. This comes as a relief to those who were sleeping outside after being locked out of their homes.

The question that remains is what will happen to those who arrive from China, will they be quarantined? If so, will the government cater for their quarantine fee? Lets wait and see.
