How to motivate your staff?

Your organization needs to  minimize the cost as it optimizes the profits,for you to have an efficient and profit making organization all departments need to work simultaneously together, and a good relationship should be enhanced between your employees.The question then arises to why do you need to motivate your working staff?working staff in an organisation is the most crucial entity that needs to be handled with great care.For a profit making organisation here are ways of motivating your staff.


  • create an open door policy. as an employer always take time to listen to your employees, this creates a good relationship and more employees feel free about communicating their issues,take time enquire  out their families and know the challenges they  experience in life, this move creates loyalty from your employees as they also enjoy working in the organisation.
  • praise employees when its due,its for the best to always complement employees for a job well done.this gives them confidence which makes them to always do their best, employees will always notice the good compliments about their work, they will tend to put more effort for more compliments.this simple technique will always impact quality into your organisation
  • create  good communication,always ensure that information concerning any major changes is well communicated to every employee, this avoids any misunderstanding that may arise between employees and top management, when employees are well informed this triggers their motivation and commitment to work.
  • act with integrity,whenever there might erupt issues in  your country that might affect your employees directly or indirectly, for  example strikes and demonstrations, as an employer always be the first to assure the employees of their safety, this will always keep them motivated.
  • reward your employees, as you set your organisations goals it is important to always regard rewarding your hard working employees,and whenever your organisation achieves greatly, reward all your employees,'organize something for them this will always make them to have a good working will all the time.
  • delegate of your duties,a good employer delegates some of the activities, when some decision making  tasks are delegated to the employees they get a sense of belonging and hence get motivated to work harder.
  • equal distribution of work, when employees realize that some part are being favored ,its is obvious that they that they will tend to do work incorrectly or unwillingly,this demoralizes them and their working ability is altered,this can be avoided by equal distribution work without showing any favoritism to other employees, when all employees are assigned duties equally according to their area  of expertise, good working environment is created which  enhances profitability. 
  • work should be allocated to employees according to their area of specialization, your  working staff should not be given duties which do not specialize in their area of expertise, they should always be allocated with work according to their area of training, this motivates them due to the sufficient knowledge they have in that area.
  • provide good working conditions, its is motivating for your staff to have freedom of expression,or to have days off duty,and giving them commissions and house allowances
